For Christmas, from Grandma, he got two volumes of the Big Book of Beginner Books, by Dr. Suess. Including such favourites as Go Dog, Go, Put Me In the Zoo, and my new favourite, It's Not Easy Being a Bunny.
While reading the bunny story today, I realized something... I have one heck of a moose call. And I was not the least bit embarrassed doing it in front of anyone (namely my mother, who will invariably laugh at me if I do something silly).
That was the very moment that I first thought to myself I'm a mom now!
